Snemulds setup

In this quick tutorial, we're going to cover how to setup and start using the emulator on your R4 3DS or R4i Gold card. If you already have an R4 3DS, then you can go ahead and follow the instructions below to get SnemulDS up and running, so that you can get in to some serious retro gaming.

You can do this by downloading the emulator from our 3DS Homebrew section. Now, plug it in to the USB port on your computer and open up the new removeable drive on your computer. Find the snemulDS download you had saved earlier, and copy over the snemulDS.

You'll now have to put some of your games on the micro SD card as well. As always, we suggest putting these games in their own folder, just for ease of access.

Copy and paste over the games you have to this new folder, and you're all set. All you have to do now is put aside some time and start retro gaming. Once you power up and select the r4 menu, you'll be able to select SnemulDS as one of the files to load from the list of games and applications you have on your micro SD card. The config cfg file is required, but can also be marked as hidden so that it is not shown on the DS.

Download Colors! Turn on the DS. The DS is now fully configured. Use the dpad to navigate the menu and press A to make a selection. I bought a 2GB Kingston card from newegg. Open the zip file and extract dlditool It is apparently less compatible. Setup nesDS: 1. And don't forget to configure the directories properly. What is the game compatibility? Which snes roms work on lolsnes. And for compatibility, well All I know is that games that are known to require insane accuracy will not run. I'd have continued on SNemulDS if possible, the only problem is that the source code of the last version seems to be completely gone from the internet, and SNemulDS being a port of an emulator made for DOS, it won't be as efficient as an emulator made specifically for the DS.

I'm going to complete it. If my motivation doesn't fail me, that is. Tile priority will be tricky to emulate without major overhead, too. But eventually I'll find a way.
