Of the invited, all except 6 studios responded. A total of 19 businesses responded anonymously to the survey, of which 12 personally wrote to the researcher afterwards to confirm that they had in fact submitted the survey. Note: It is quite possible that some of the 6 studios that did not respond may in fact also be part of the group of the 7 remaining that submitted anonymously. Four were from studio managers who alerted the researcher that two separate people from their organisation had submitted identical entries without realising the other had already responded.

In another instance, six entries were submitted from one college after a tutor had inadvertently shared the URL amongst his students who were not employed by a game development company anyway.

Fortunately though, the entries were obvious as they were all entered on the same day, with similar studio names, and were all marked with the same postcode as the college campus.
