Write a guide to share with other travelers like you! Pretty sweet tool that makes it so much easier to visualize and plan a road trip to my favourite rock climbing destinations and explore the area around. So many travel planning apps promise to make life easier but end up being fiddly, glitchy and time consuming.
Wanderlog is my new go-to tool after decades of professional travel. I'm a rather extensive planner when I take trips so this was great. I liked how it auto-filled all of my travel information from my email account. Also, the level of detail that I can put into organizing a trip is greatly appreciated and goes above and beyond any of the other apps I've tried. I've downloaded a few different travel planner apps and yours is definitely the best! It's very intuitive and simple while still providing a bunch of features other apps don't, like photos on the destinations, descriptions and suggestions for nearby places to visit.
It left me speechless that I can add places to my trip and they get automatically populated with a featured pic and description from the web. I really like how user friendly it is and the auto-save. I also enjoy being able to look at trips that others have planned for inspiration.
I can hand it to my kids and they can see the different locations and stops along our trip. Yesterday I walked them through the vacation timeline that I've built so far and their excitement levels went way up! Wanderlog is a game changer for vacation planning! Creating a trucker trip planner should be a top priority for drivers, and the company they work for should provide them with the tools and the knowledge to do so.
A poorly planned truck driver route can have seriously negative impacts. As time-consuming as planning can be, not doing it can mean even more time wasted. Knowing the benefits of route planning and the consequences of failing to plan, how does a truck driver execute an efficient plan day after day?
Every trucker has their own routine and planning methods. As long as you are making a plan every single day, you should be fine. Note: Truckers often like consistent routes, so they can best predict how the haul will go. But this does not mean they are exempt from daily planning. Things change all the time; an unexpected construction zone or weather delay can put a serious wrinkle in the best-laid plans. Drivers who plan tend to have better service records, better on-time delivery percentages, and dispatchers, companies, and customers appreciate it.
These apps can do a lot more than help you with routing. They can help in other ways, too:. Sygic claims to be the most downloaded app for professional drivers. It offers several useful features for heavy truck drivers. Waze is a great app that allows for user input in real time. This means you can drive like a local, even in an area where you have never been before, and it offers all kinds of benefits to help truck drivers save money.
