Wonka party games

I painted a large piece of cardboard with gold paint and cut it into tickets, adding numbers with glitter glue. These were hidden around the garden and each child given a number to go and hunt for. The Golden Egg Race was simply an egg and spoon race, split into 4 runners at a time, using plastic gold eggs.

Primary colored helium balloons in bouquets sporadically throughout the house finished off the decorations. I was lucky enough to find plain brown plates, napkins, cups, silverware, table coverings and table skirts to use as party ware. The main attraction of the party was a candy store that I created by using different tiers of cardboard boxes taped together and covered with wrapping paper.
