Pop up piano card template

Thank you very much. Thank you. I'm afraid I can't access your blog or profile - not sure whether this is Blogger playing up again - but hope you come back here to read this. I am fascinated by pop-ups - the idea of creating something 3-D in paper which also folds completely flat is endlessly intriguing. If you want to learn how to make them, and to understand how they work, click on the link in my Blog List to the Extreme Cards and Papercrafting Blog and look for her pop-up tutorials.

It's a great blog with loads of ideas and instructions! Happy crafting! Hi Hanaa hanaa - I cannot access your blog to post a reply there. If you can give me some contact details maybe I can help you. I recommend you visit the Extreme Cards and Papercrafting blog see link in my Blog List in my sidebar and look for her pop-up tutorials.

Loads of ideas there! I love the finished product but found it hard to fold up the keys once I had done it, your video was lacking in this area. Sorry you had problems with the folding part, Anonymous. It's very hard to film that because of the manipulation involved and your hands get in the way of the camera! It's definitely the most tricky part of the project, and I didn't help myself by making it all too small.

You need to follow the "mountain" and "valley" folds and fold them accordingly, and gently tease it to make the card go the way you want. After each of the pieces are going in the right direction, you fold the card flat to reinforce the direction of the folds, and work it back and forth to make sure it's all working properly. Not knowning who you are, I can't comment on your blog, so I do hope you return to read this.

I hope you manage the folds all right. Wow that was unusual. I just wrote an extremely long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn't appear. Regardless, just wanted to say excellent blog! Have a look at my web site : does tanning help stretch marks. Sorry you experienced problems commenting, Anonymous - it seems that a lot of us are experiencing more than the usual run of problems with Blogger at the moment.

It's a pain. Anyway, thanks for the nice comment, and glad you like my blog. It is truly a nice and helpful piece of information. I am satisfied that you simply shared this helpful information with us. Please keep us informed like this.

Thanks for sharing. Check out my website: wiki. I love the card will have a go at making one. I know its preference but I thought the black notes spoiled the over all effect. I probably would have used music note confetti but then that would be oh so fiddly. Thanks again for a lovely idea. Now I'll go look at all the other things you have since I am here. Lost on another tangent. Thanks for your comment, SurfinNan.

Glad you like this card! Of course it's entirely up to you how you embellish it, if at all - anything goes! Hope you enjoy the rest of my blog. Oh my this card is fabulous! Sadly, my lovely Dad for whom I made this card, is now in hospital and if well enough, will go to a nursing home. He is now 90 and has dementia and heart failure and is very poorly. Step 4 Now cut the full lines and fold the dotted ones. Step 5 Draw the keyboard. You can make a little butterfly to watch over your piano :. Step 6 Voila, you're done :. Leave your comment.

Cindy L. Ananya B. Love it! I have been searching for a month to find this card. BTW how come the finished project is backwards? This ensures that the black key will fold flat in the card. Weight and allow to dry.

Refer to cut and fold diagram, below, for white keys. The white keys form a simple box pop up. Cut along blue lines. Score red valley and green mountain fold lines. Push and pinch to create folds. I usually pre-pinch each fold in the proper direction and then push from the back to get the folds to collapse. Glue black keys to white card, matching guidelines. Flatten the white card. Smooth the black keys flat, too.
